Things have been so insanely busy it's crazy! Filming this new movie has kept me so busy, i barely have time to breathe! It's amazing i've been able to go out and see people. But i am having so much fun filming this movie. It's cool to be a "superhero" i guess you could say. Definitely a new thing. I've done action movies before, so the stunts aren't new. I'm just excited to be back doing this type of movie so i can do the stunts again. It's been a long time!
Now i know i said i was going to the awards, and i was there, but more of a behind the scenes thing. I went with Sandra, to be there for moral support because I knew she was a little nervous. And, they really wanted to do the kiss with Scarlett, so it made since for me to be behind the scenes and hiding. But that was...yeah. I knew about it before, but actually seeing it was...different. But i think the crowd enjoyed it and the fans did and it showed people that Sandra really is ready to move on and wants everyone to KNOW she is ready to move on. We have been hanging out a lot and its been really fun. We haven't hung out in a while, i guess since we filmed The Proposal, so it has been really, really good to spend some time with her. And her little boy is just...amazing.
This year has been filled with work, but I'm trying to make room for other stuff. I used to be out all the time, meeting girls, meeting people and for some reason, i haven't lately. I dont' know what is going on. I dont' know if its just a funk from the divorce or what, but, something needs to change. So its been fun going out with Sandra and hanging out with her has been good. I've been talking to Jessica Simpson a bit and she said i should call ashton, and he said we are going to start a "bromance" or something. So, looking forward to that ha ha!
I'm sure everyone is excited it's the summer. i LOVE the summer. I'm hoping to get to at least take one vacation, so i'll have to pick between somewhere warm and tropical or going back to Canada. Which will i choose.....

People sometimes ask me if I enjoy being engaged. If i like getting engaged i plan to do it all the time. First off, I'm no Ross from Friends. There have been several women in my life that I have fallen head over heels in love with and thought they were the women I had to spend the rest of my life with. But things change. It doesn't mean I don't love them or we don't care about each other anymore. We just...snapped out of our fantasy worlds and faced reality. And sometimes reality was not what we wanted it to be and we had to be honest with each other. It is never a fun moment. Or week. Or months. But it's part of maturing. I am a 34 year old who still has a lot of growing to do. I'm still trying to find myself and who I am. I am newly single and i guess "ready to mingle". Cheesy huh?
I have loved every role I have been given. It has been...an exploring process through each of the roles. I've done horror (we all know how well that turned out), i've done comedy (waiting, by far my favorite) and i've done the romantic comedy (shout out to Sandra). And i don't think i have a favorite. I definitely favor certain movies (I'll keep those to myself) but it is fun to switch up the roles and challenge myself.
I have spent most of my life in Canada, so let me tell you the SHOCK i experienced coming to LA. I mean...HOLY CRAP. There were more people in my NEIGHBORHOOD here in LA then my whole town up in Canada. It is such a different atmosphere and lifestyle, but it is nice to have both. When i need to relax and be able to walk down the street and not be hounded, Canada calls my name. But it is nice to be in LA and work and go out and have a great time with everyone here. This town works hard, but it also plays hard and i love it. While they say New York is the city that never sleeps, LA is right there too. I know when i am here i am tired. Oh very tired. But worth every second!
